Mystery Disappearances

An amazing thing happened today. My mom told me to write a check from the checkbook. The checkbook had two checks signed by dad ( according to mom ). But when I wrote the check there was none. Where had the other signed check gone? Me and mom searched the whole house but no sign of the signed check. Mom says she saw two singed checks before giving it tome me but I didn't check and had no idea about it. My mom is worrying now that if somebody finds that check then we'll be looted. What a bad day!
