Science Vs Arts

Dear Readers
I am done with my board exams recently and I am in this big dilemma in choosing my stream for my successive education. I adore science but I am in war with understanding numbers alias mathematics. The option for opting commerce as a career is therefore officially closed. I am not too good in biology too. My first and last love seems to be with English and I am sure I can't find a better suitor for me. That narrows down my choice to Arts. But the society doesn't see arts as an valuable career choice. Why is it that there always a silent war on between arts and science in the minds of a student who is capable of making it to science but has his heart set to the contemporary subjects. Why has it become a cliche that arts students are bunch of losers ? And why do students with dissatisfying results end up in arts? Why has this amazing area of scholastic ended up being a continual native for the underachieved? Who has given society the rights to make up such ideas? Its US. So tell me people would you just take up Science for the sake of not being called a loser or break the rules of the society and follow your heart. I know I will follow my heart, what about you?
